Birmingham's whisky woman on creating her own business

Amy Seton is called 'the whisky woman' by people who know her, but being asked to prove her knowledge leaves a sour taste.

The 40-year-old, who owns the Birmingham Whisky Club, is among a growing number of female entrepreneurs.

Academics from Aston University have conducted new research using data from think tank the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor which reveals the number of women starting a business in the UK has risen far faster than men in the past decade, jumping 45% between 2003-6 and 2013-16.
