Victim Support celebrates 40 years after Bristol launch

The national charity Victim Support, which celebrates its 40th anniversary on 1 January 2014, started as a pilot project in Bristol.

The BBC filmed the project and spoke to volunteers and victims for the community affairs programme Open Door in February 1975.

The late Ch Supt Ken Cole and Bristol Victim Support Scheme administrator Liz Turner took part in the film.
