First Bus is to pay half the monthly travel costs for more than 50 people

The travel operator First Bus is to pay half the monthly travel costs for more than 50 people seeking sanctuary in Bristol.

The rest of the ticket money will come from local businesses and charities.

It is aimed at helping those whose asylum application and appeal have failed - but who can still put in a fresh claim.
