Little Gransden villagers win fight to save two trees

Tax payers may have to pay a £40,000 bill to save two trees in a private garden in Cambridgeshire.

Home owner Victoria Seabright, who lives at The Old Rectory in Little Gransden, wanted to cut them down because they are damaging her house, but villagers fought to save them and won the support of planners at South Cambridgeshire District Council.
