Lifeguards save cliff fall dogs

Beach lifeguards and coastguard teams have rescued two dogs which were trapped by the sea after falling from cliffs in Cornwall.

Two dogs trapped by the sea after falling from cliffs off the Cornish coast have been rescued.

RNLI beach lifeguards and two coastguard cliff rescue teams worked together to save the "frightened and aggressive" dogs.

The dogs were pulled from the water onto a lifeguard's paddle board before being put into a basket and winched by rope up the cliffside.

Neither of the animals were seriously hurt.
