Jersey Liberation 70: Final tapestry finished

A new panel for a tapestry marking Jersey's Nazi occupation has been completed.

The 13th panel on the tapestry celebrates 70 years of the Channel Island's liberation.

Twelve panels depicting scenes from the Nazi occupation were unveiled in 1995.

The finished piece contains more than 7.5m stitches following 30,000 hours of work by volunteers.
