Paralympian James Roe enjoys town parade

Hundreds of people cheered on Paralympic gold medal-winning rower James Roe as he took part in an open top bus parade through Stratford-upon-Avon.

Roe, who was born in Leamington Spa and now lives in Stratford-upon-Avon, was joined by two of his team mates from the winning mixed coxed four crew.

The 24-year-old said he had been surprised and "overwhelmed" by the level of support in the town.

A pair of postboxes have also been painted gold in Stratford-upon-Avon in his honour.
