Coventry scientists develop new heart and cancer drugs test
Scientists have developed a new way of testing heart and cancer drugs and said it could save thousands of lives.
The team at Coventry University was able to replicate the way the human heart would react to treatments, but under laboratory conditions.
This means they would be able to spot potential problems with drugs before they are tested on patients.
