West Midlands hairdressers help cut domestic violence

West Midlands Police is recruiting hairdressers to help persuade victims of domestic violence to seek help.

The project, called 'Salon Saviours', has been set up in the hope that victims will talk about their home life while having their hair done.

Nearly 20,000 of domestic abuse were reported in the region in the last year.
