Egremont mineworkings collapse homeowners return

Most of the people forced to leave their homes after old mineworkings collapsed in Cumbria have been allowed to return.

A number of buildings had to be evacuated after a gaping hole appeared behind a row of houses in Egremont in November.

Copeland Borough Council has said that ongoing work to fill it in will be complete by mid-January.
