Cumbria storm-hit rail line reopening 'a priority'

Engineers are working to repair a storm-hit coastal railway line in Cumbria "as fast as they can".

High tides and strong winds damaged sea defences and stretches of the track between Carlisle and Barrow on Friday.

Martin Frobisher, from Network Rail, said reopening the line was a priority.
