Newbiggin shed owner aims to win top hut title

A shed in Newbiggin near Brampton, Cumbria has been shortlisted for the Shed of the Year title.

On a list whittled down from more than 2,500 entries, Paul Robinson's posh bolthole offers an unusual interpretation of the traditional wooden construction usually found at the bottom of gardens.

A former burger van in Newcastle and a wooden cabin on the back of a Chevrolet truck in Bedale are also shortlisted.
