How a Cumbria bakery is surviving after Storm Desmond

The owner of a traditional bakery hit by the floods caused by Storm Desmond in December has reinvented her business to keep it alive.

Claire Armitage took the decision to move her business on Warwick Road in Carlisle five yards away to a burger van.

Instead of home-made soup and scones, her best-sellers are now burgers, bacon sandwiches and sausages.
