Buxton river crash: BBC boss's tribute to David Cox
The father who died when two cars carrying four members of the same family crashed into a Derbyshire river was a "highly respected" and "dependable" man, his colleagues have said.
David Cox, 42, died when his car went into the River Wye in Buxton on Thursday.
He worked at the BBC in Salford and led the team who worked on the red button service during the Olympics.
His manager Roux Joubert said: "We all knew him as an expert in the field that he was in and we saw that with the work he did with the Olympics."
Mr Cox's wife, son and daughter were also involved in the crash but managed to swim to safety.
