Nuns gather in Nottingham to honour order's founder Mary Potter
More than 60 representatives of a worldwide order of nuns have gathered in Nottingham to commemorate the death of their founder.
Mary Potter was born in 1847 in London but moved to Nottingham to set up a religious order in Hyson Green to care for the poor and sick.
She died in Rome on 9 May 1913. But her order, The Little Company of Mary, continues her work throughout the world.
She was declared venerable in 1988 by Pope John Paul II.
James Roberson reports.
