Derbyshire waterways rescue team reattempts 999 Challenge
A Derbyshire inland waterways rescue team is reattempting to circumnavigate the British coastline after a technical failure with its boat the first time.
Watersafe UK hopes to complete its 999 Challenge, a 2,000-mile (3,200km) trip, in nine days, nine hours and nine minutes with a new, stronger, bigger boat.
The team has set out for Poole Harbour again after the first attempt was abandoned ironically in nine hours in September last year.
The rescue workers hope to raise £50,000 for two search and rescue organisations.
