Torquay police show 'biggest' stun gun haul

A drug gang leader has been jailed for 12 years after police found what was believed to be the largest seizure of prohibited stun guns in the UK.

David Morrison, 40, of St Lukes Road South in Torquay, was a "significant player" in bringing Class A drugs to the streets of Torbay, detectives said.

Exeter Crown Court heard Morrison had sold on the stun guns but had not used them himself.

Det Insp David Dale, from Devon and Cornwall Police, explained how the stun guns - capable of discharging 1.2m volts - work.
