Damien Hirst 'thank you' sketch up for auction

A quick sketch given as a thank you note by Damien Hirst is being put up for auction at Ottery St Mary.

The north Devon-based artist's work often makes headlines, such as his recent heart artwork commissioned by David and Victoria Beckham - which is reported to be worth about £600,000.

In 2012, a giant statue of a pregnant woman by the artist was unveiled in Ilfracombe to a mixed reaction.

The sketch will go under the hammer on Thursday and the auctioneer has put a "conservative" estimate of between £300 and £500.
