Race-hate arson attack family get new shed

A Polish family subjected to a race-hate arson attack have had their burnt-out shed replaced for free by a local company.

Arsonists set the shed on fire in Plymouth on 6 July. The family also received a letter telling them to go back to their homeland.

Police are investigating the incidents as hate crimes.

Ewa Banaszak thanked shed firm owner Hadleigh Winter for his work, saying: "People need to still remember that there are still good people around the world."
