Rare tequila plant grows 30ft in weeks in Devon

A rare plant used as the base ingredient of tequila has grown 30ft (9m) in a matter of weeks in a front garden in Devon.

The plant, nicknamed Spike, has taken 20 years to finally flower in Sidmouth.

It is attracting local fans and even has its own Instagram account.
