Cyclist rides to aid of air ambulance charity
A cyclist who has an air ambulance crew to thank for saving him from being paralysed, is taking on a fund raising challenge.
Ben Winter from Christchurch suffered serious spinal injuries when he had an accident on Canford Heath eight years ago.
He was a lifted to hospital by the Dorset and Wiltshire Air Ambulance and after major surgery, made a full recovery.
Mr Winter, 43, is back in the saddle and helping to raise some of the £1.7m the charity needs to remain airborne each year.
