Part of Bournemouth Beach evacuated amid heath fire

A large fire has broken out in heathland on Bournemouth beach.

The blaze broke out at about 15:40 BST on Saturday in a patch of gorse behind beach huts near East Cliff Undercliff Drive.

No-one was injured in the fire but the beach was evacuated and the scene has been sealed off as firefighters extinguish the flames.
