Clacton's new David Porter lifeboat launched

Clacton has a new lifeboat thanks to the generosity of people who live in the Essex resort.

It cost £180,000 and the money was raised far faster than the Royal National Lifeboat Institute expected.

The lifeboat has been named after David Porter, a former chairman of the lifeboat management group.
