PC Ian Dibell's bravery remembered at memorial service

The chief constable of Essex paid tribute to PC Ian Dibell at a memorial service for the officer who was shot dead on 9 July.

Home Secretary Theresa May joined officers of all ranks at a memorial service to honour the officer was killed near his home in Clacton while intervening in a row on 9 July. He was not on duty.

Hundreds of people packed St James Church, in Tower Road, Clacton, for the service.
