Writtle Junior School dig fails to unearth time capsule

A primary school has appealed for help in solving the mystery of its missing time capsule.

Staff, pupils and parents at Writtle Junior School in Essex gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of its opening.

As part of the celebrations, the school had planned to dig up a capsule buried at the school 25 years ago.

But despite a lot of searching, the location of the capsule could not be found.
