Great Baddow neighbour helped save fire victims

A man kicked down a door to rescue his neighbours when fire engulfed flats in Essex.

Thirty people managed to escape and several have been left homeless after the fire took hold at Great Baddow, Chelmsford, early on Saturday.

"I just want any normal person would do," said James Hawken. "The heat was quite intense," he added.
