Laindon boy, 8, finds needles in woodland

A mother has told how she was "so scared" after her eight-year-old son found needles and syringes in woodland near their house.

Ellie Rolls' son was playing in woods in Laindon, near Basildon, when he found a box full of needles with more scattered on the ground.

The needles were removed by environmental health officials.
