Rare elm tree 'could save species'
An ancient tree discovered on an island in Gloucestershire could be the saviour of its species.
The elm discovered at Cotswold water park is being used to raise a new generation of trees after Dutch elm disease killed off almost all of the UK's elms in the 1960s and 70s.
Zoe Gough spoke to lakes ecologist Benedict Pollard who found the tree.
