Footballing pooch earns 'Ronaldog' nickname
A football-loving rescue dog has been nicknamed 'Ronaldog' by his owners on account of his impressive ball skills.
Alfie, as he is usually known, was recently rehomed with the Simpkins family from Cheltenham by the Dogs Trust charity.
After discovering he was able to perform a range of footballing feats, including dribbling and keepie uppies, his new family gave him the nickname in honour of the Real Madrid star.
Owner Pete Simpkins said: "He's incredible, especially as we've never trained him. It's all natural skill."
