Hillsborough conclusion 'took too long' victim's parents say
The parents of a Gloucestershire football fan who died in the Hillsborough disaster have welcomed the ruling that he was unlawfully killed.
Derrick Godwin, 24, from Lechlade, was one of 96 Liverpool fans who died on 15 April 1989.
An inquest jury found police errors and defects at the stadium contributed to the disaster.
Mr Godwin's father Stanley said "it was a good result" and his mother Margaret said she was "pleased" but it was a "shame" it had taken such a long time.
