Cotswold model village celebrates 80 years
A model village - thought to be one of the oldest in England - is celebrating its 80th birthday.
Work on the exact one-ninth scale replica of Bourton-on-the-Water began in 1936. It was opened in 1937 but took builders five years to complete.
Made from locally-quarried limestone and miniature Cotswold stone slates, it's the only English Heritage Grade II Listed attraction of its kind.
