Philippines storm: HMS Daring sent to aid victims
The Portsmouth warship HMS Daring is being sent to the Philippines to help deal with the storm disaster.
More than 10,000 people are feared dead after typhoon Haiyan struck over the weekend.
With many Filipinos in the UK working in the NHS, some hospitals are also trying to fundraise, along with many churches.
A television appeal has also been made by a group of leading UK aid charities.
