Bus pass use threatens Fareham bus services

Free bus passes, meant to encourage people to use public transport, have proved so popular in Hampshire that some bus routes only carry a handful of paying passengers.

In places like Fareham there are concerns it could lead to some services being withdrawn.

Hampshire County Council is reviewing its public transport subsidies in a bid to save £1.5m.
