Mum's plea for son to be cared for at home
A mother said her nine-year-old son is taking up a "much-needed" hospital bed because social services cannot care for him at home.
Bruno Mimo has been at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, in Winchester, for two months after his mother Sandra broke her shoulder and was unable to care for him full time.
He has a severe genetic disorder which means he requires physical therapy his mother cannot provide because of her injury.
In a statement, Hampshire County Council said: "Finding the most appropriate specialist long term care for children is always our priority."
