Pennie Davis murder plot 'deliberately targeted' victim

The family of Pennie Davis have spoken of their heartbreak after she was murdered as part of plot to "silence" her.

Mrs Davis was stabbed 14 times by Justin Robertson in a field where she had been tending her horses near Beaulieu in the New Forest.

Robertson has been sentenced to life with a minimum of 32 years while Mrs Davis's former stepson Benjamin Carr was convicted of conspiracy to murder and sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison.
