Firefighter's video captures Farnborough gas main fire

Video captured by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service shows a fire erupting from a gas main in Farnborough.

Dozens of people have been evacuated from their homes after the gas main burst into flames in the middle of Reading Road.

The fire is believed to have started within roadworks.

People travelling to work and on the school run have been advised to avoid the area.

Safety cordons remain in place with SGN engineers working to isolate the gas supply.
