Brit couple's 'dream' Spanish home could be bulldozed
A Redditch couple who invested their life savings in a "dream" retirement villa in Spain fear it could be demolished because of a local planning dispute.
Bob and Yvonne Weafer said they spent around 250,000 euro (£206,250) on building the property in Andalucía but have never been able to move in after the regional government declared the project illegal.
Local council representative Antonio Salas said he was drawing up a proposal in a bid to save thousands of British-owned homes in the area from being destroyed.
BBC Midlands Today's Anthony Bartram reports.
