Lorries ablaze after crash that closed Worcester road
A two-lorry fire that closed a busy dual carriageway has been made worse by the woodchips one was carrying.
A man suffered chest injuries when a collision between two HGVs set them ablaze shortly before 11:30 BST on Tuesday.
The crash kept the A449 near Worcester closed both ways for hours.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "The collision caused a fire that has totally consumed one of the lorries, which was carrying wood chips."
