Fog hinders Flamborough helicopter crash investigation

Thick fog and poor visibility has prevented investigators from examining the wreckage of a helicopter that crashed off the East Yorkshire coast killing two men.

The Bell JetRanger crashed into the sea near Selwick Bay at Flamborough at about 13:40 BST on Tuesday.

The aircraft was flying from West Lothian to Nottinghamshire and was on its way to refuel at Humberside Airport.

The bodies of the two men, who have not yet been named, were recovered from the aircraft on Tuesday evening.

BBC Look North reporter Jo Makel has spent the day near the crash site.
