Old Romney solar farm planning permission granted

Planning permission has been granted for what is thought to be one of the country's largest solar farms on land at Old Romney in Kent.

About 70,000 panels will be put in place on a 113-acre site and will provide enough power for about 4,200 homes.

Some environmental campaigners say prime agricultural land should not be used for such farms.
