Festive challenge for Kent family on 'buy British' mission
A family from Kent who decided to buy nothing but British-made goods for a year have admitted that Christmas has proved a bit of a challenge.
James and Emily Bradshaw, from Westerham, were inspired by the feelgood factor of the London Olympics, and angered by foreign companies making big profits in the UK, but failing to pay corporation tax.
Michael Weedon, of the British Independent Retailers Association, said 30% of people looked for British goods when shopping.
