Darent Valley Hospital's A&E department 'potentially unsafe'

Government inspectors have said the Accident and Emergency department at a Kent hospital has "the potential to be unsafe".

A Care Quality Commission inspection found the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford did not have enough staff with the right skills to deliver care.

However, it found other departments in the hospital were good.

BBC South East Today's Sarah Cruddas spoke to Adrian Hughes of the Care Quality Commission, and Susan Acott, chief executive of the Darent Valley Hospital.
