Julie and Andrew Kennett tie the knot in 1941 style

A couple from Kent went back in time to 1941 to tie the knot, inspired by their passionate interest in wartime Britain.

Julie and Andrew Kennett married in 1940s-style at the War and Peace Revival Show in Folkestone, with male guests wearing military uniforms and the women putting up their hair in victory rolls.

Wedding invitations were marked "Top Secret".

BBC South East Today's Chrissie Reidy spoke to the bride and groom, registrar Zac Thraves and historian Bunty Bowring.
