Kent farmers celebrate bumper apple crop

Farmers in Kent are celebrating a record crop, which is being harvested almost a month earlier than last year.

The mild, wet winter followed by an early spring and warm summer has proved ideal conditions for apples. Growers expect the amount produced this year to be up 20% on 2013.

BBC South East Today's Yvette Austin spoke to growers Melvyn Newman and Tony Frankham.
