East Kent £21m flood defence scheme nears completion

A major flood defence scheme for Sandwich has been unveiled following devastating floods during the winter.

It should provide direct protection for hundreds of homes and businesses in the town from a tidal surge and is part of a wider £21m scheme to protect homes.

South East Today's environment correspondent Yvette Austin reports.
