Thanet sand artist in race against tide
Sand artist Ross Andrews, who grew up in Kent, uses the coast of Thanet as his canvas for artworks produced in about four hours in a race against the tides.
He uses a rake and a stick to create his freestyle designs, which he says he does not plan before he starts.
The conditions at Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs work well, with overcast days the best for creating and viewing his art.
South East Today's Charlie Rose talked to him at Botany Bay near Broadstairs.
