Campaign to save derelict Otford Palace in Kent

A campaign has begun to help save the remains of a former palace in a Kent village.

Only a small section of Otford Palace - which was said to have once rivalled Hampton Court - now stands.

Campaigners, including historian Rachel Weir and Cliff Ward, from the Otford Historical Society, said if nothing is done it is in danger of falling down.

BBC South East Today's Dan Maclaren spoke to Ms Weir and Mr Ward, and also Siobhan Clarke, from the Historic Royal Palaces, and Michelle Lowe, from Sevenoaks District Council.
