Headteacher says parents undermine teachers' attempts at discipline
A headteacher has described how parents are undermining efforts by teachers to discipline poorly behaved children.
Louise McGowan, of Walderslade Girls' School in Kent, said there were cases where pupils had phoned parents after being disciplined in class.
The parents had then come to the school and shouted at the teachers in front of the child, she said.
