Accrington girl with a heart and lung condition gets her garden wish
A profoundly deaf six-year-old girl who also has a heart and lung condition, has been given her wish by a charity she helped.
Madison Kennedy-Finglas, from Accrington in Lancashire, was unable to play safely in her garden because parts of it were unsafe and uneven.
She can now play on a new swing in the new garden after it was given a makeover by WellChild children's charity.
The youngster, who receives treatment at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, had travelled with WellChild to Westminster to lobby the government for better care for long-term sick children.
