Large Heath: Butterflies comeback after a century

A rare butterfly which has been missing from a Lancashire nature reserve for more than a century has been reintroduced to the site.

The Large Heath butterfly is making a comeback thanks to a captive breeding programme to reintroduce it.

Some of the first butterflies have been released at Heysham Moss in North Lancashire.
